Key Features
Dual-bar base. A dual-bar base supports the rack assembly. Follow the S2 manual for installation and tightening.
300 lb combined bike capacity. Load two bikes within the combined limit, with the heavier bike closest to the vehicle. Review the loading guide above.
Wheel and frame support. Front and rear wheel holders work with the frame supports. Use only contact points allowed by your bike manufacturer.
Adjustable wheel holders. The S2 supports a maximum wheelbase of 52 inches and tire width of 5 inches. Check wheel support and strap fit before loading.
Ratchet straps. Secure the wheels and specified frame-contact points as shown in the manual. Inspect straps before driving.
Folding and tilting. Follow the S2 manual when folding or tilting the rack. Check rear clearance for your vehicle and bikes.
Foldable loading ramp. Use the ramp as instructed, then fold it for storage in the vehicle.
Aluminum and steel. Aluminum and steel components form the S2 rack. Follow the manual for assembly and inspection.

Different bike weights are allowed. Place the heavier bike closest to the vehicle.
Not for RVs or bumper-mounted receivers. Vehicle and hitch limits must cover the rack and bikes; check clearance and approved frame contact.
Size limits alone do not guarantee fit. Both wheels must be supported and secured. Remove bike batteries before transport as instructed in the matching manual.
Fit & loading details
Check wheels, frame contact and clearance
Measure both bikes and check the S2 specifications and matching manual. A narrower tire is not automatically compatible: confirm wheel support and strap fit.
Use the seat/middle-tube contact positions shown in the manual only where permitted by your bike manufacturer. Do not assume every carbon or step-through frame fits; top-tube contact is not recommended for carbon frames.
A 2-inch receiver is a starting point, not complete vehicle approval. Confirm the vehicle and hitch manufacturers’ limits and rear clearance.
Weigh, position and secure your bikes
After preparing the bikes for transport, weigh them with the accessories that will remain installed. For example, 180 lb + 120 lb meets the combined load limit; the 180 lb bike goes closest to the vehicle. A 190 lb + 120 lb load exceeds it. Other fit requirements still apply; the two-bike total is not a stated single-bike limit.
Follow the S2 manual for rack assembly, bike placement and securing both wheels and the specified frame-contact points. Check every strap and fastener before driving.
Use the ramp, folding and tilting functions
Follow the matching S2 manual to set up the ramp, load the bikes and fold the ramp for storage in the vehicle. Follow its folding and tilting instructions; do not assume loaded operation is permitted. Trunk access depends on your vehicle and bike setup.
Check excluded bikes and hitch setups
Adapters, extenders, swing-away attachments and front-mounted hitches are not recommended. Do not use the S2 for recumbent bikes, tandems, trikes, scooters, mopeds or motorcycles.
Cargo bikes need an individual check of dimensions and basket placement. Do not load a bike if its wheels or approved frame-contact points cannot be secured as instructed.
