We needed a more sturdy bike rack after blowing out our last one driving on the I40. Based on the specs and reviews we decided to order one. Unfortunately, it came with some missing parts. (The box was taped at the end when we received it and automatically thought it had torn along the way after shipping out. Contacted the company and they expedited deliver of the missing parts, receiving them the next day. We haven't had this kind of support from a company in a long time. Thank you so much. Recently purchased this bike rack and had a chance finally to put it together. The instruction manual was very simple to understand. It only took me about 45mins to put the rack together. The only thing I don’t like is the ramp doesn’t have a place to mount it on the rack when your finished with it but it’s foldable so you can store it in your vehicle otherwise loading and unloading is fairly simple and the tie downs work great. Overall it’s a great bike rack for electric bikes. I loaded both bikes onto the rack and found the bumpiest roads I could find and the bikes didnt move an inch. I’m so impressed with this rack i highly recommended this bike rack.
Love how the bike is locked in when transporting. I feel confident the bike is secure! I really enjoy the folding ramp also. Makes loading or unloading my 50lb Ebike hassle free.
After assembly, I could almost install it on my car by myself. Except it is too heavy to line up the elevated platform.
That said, it is super sturdy and handles both e-bikes easily.
I would say that it is a good buy, if someone will push the bolt through while you adjust the heavy platform.
