E2 Plus Classic — Foldable Ramp
The guidance below covers the E2 Plus Classic with a foldable ramp. Check the specifications and instructions for the version you select before ordering. Do not apply these limits automatically to Evo.
Carry up to two e-bikes or standard bikes with a maximum combined bike load of 200 lb. The two bikes may have different weights; place the heavier bike in the position closest to the vehicle. Use actual transport weight, including any battery or accessory left installed. The E2 Plus Classic fits 2-inch hitch receivers only and includes a foldable loading ramp.
Not compatible with RVs or bumper-mounted receivers.
Check Your Bike and Vehicle Before You Buy
- Bike count: Carry no more than two bicycles.
- Weight distribution: The two bikes may have different weights. Place the heavier bike closest to the vehicle.
- Combined bike weight: The two bikes together must not exceed 200 lb.
- Receiver: Use a 2-inch hitch receiver only.
- Dimensions and contact points: The maximum tire width is 5 inches. Check the complete tire fit, wheelbase, and permitted mounting contact points against the instructions for your bike and rack.
- Vehicle setup: Check the vehicle and hitch manufacturers' load requirements as well as the rack restrictions. Do not use on an RV or a bumper-mounted receiver.
Count any battery or accessory left installed as part of the bike's actual transport weight. A 120 lb bike and an 80 lb bike meet the 200 lb combined-load limit. Place the 120 lb bike closest to the vehicle, and check all other fit and vehicle requirements.

Fit Conditions and Restrictions
Start with the load and receiver requirements, then complete the fit checks. Each bike must meet the wheelbase and mounting requirements in the applicable instructions. The bicycle manufacturer must permit clamping at the selected contact points, and the vehicle and hitch must meet their manufacturers' requirements for carrying the rack and bikes. A maximum tire width does not confirm that every narrower tire fits.
Not compatible: RVs, bumper-mounted receivers, recumbent bikes, tandem bikes, trikes or other three-wheel bikes, scooters, mopeds, or motorcycles.
Not recommended: Adapters, hitch extenders, swing-away adapters, and front hitches, because compatibility testing has not been completed for these setups.
Cargo bikes: Fit depends on basket position, dimensions, and the individual bike setup. Contact CRAVOT Support with your bike details before ordering.
Where Should the Upper Contact Point Sit?
For step-through and step-over bikes, the seat tube is the preferred upper contact point. The top tube is a secondary option for suitable non-carbon frames. For carbon-fiber frames, CRAVOT recommends seat-tube contact and advises against top-tube contact.
Confirm that the bicycle manufacturer permits clamping at the proposed location before loading the bike. This guidance is not approval for every frame.

- Install the rack directly into the vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver and secure the hitch pin lock.
- Open and position the foldable ramp, then load the heavier bike in the position closest to the vehicle first.
- Secure the front wheel, rear wheel, and seat or middle tube as shown in the E2 Plus user manual.
- Confirm each bike is properly secured before driving and keep the combined bike load within 200 lb, with the heavier bike closest to the vehicle.
- On long trips, check the straps and bike position regularly, especially after rough road sections.
