I am loving this E-bike rack - easy to load and unload - tilts to allow access to your vehicle and folds flat when not in use.
The Cravot CyberRack E2 Plus is a solid, sturdy rack that easily supports our two Aventon Aventure 2s. The included loading ramp is a nice feature, though I often find it quicker to just lift the bikes on.
I’m giving it 4/5 stars for two main reasons:
The hitch bolt requires screwing in, which feels awkward and inconvenient—especially since I frequently transfer the rack between my car and motorhome. It’s not a deal breaker, just a recurring annoyance.
The latching mechanism requires the safety pin to be engaged manually. Unlike my previous Kuat rack, this isn’t automatic, and on my first trip I forgot to secure it. That mistake caused the latch to disengage and the rack to drag on the ground. Yes, it was user error, but a more intuitive design would help prevent this.
Overall, it’s a strong, dependable rack with good value, but I’d like to see a few design improvements to make it more user-friendly.
