Search started last year, it seemed like the cheapest (quality) bike rack price started in the $800+ range. This was too expensive for me. So I stopped looking. I Re-Started looking about a month or so ago, (April 2025) there seems to be a slew of them between $250-$400 range. The E-2 Plus caught my eye with its sleek design. I bought/installed a hitch, and got the E-2 Plus soon after. The E-2 Plus adds the extra drop down so I can open my rear hatch door on my Audi Q5. Shipping was quick, assembly was easy, loading the 2 bikes was as simple ans the videos, and securing them made it solid. The E-2 Pus also comes with a locking hitch pin for extra security of your rack. When the rack is loaded with 2 each 65 lbs bikes the rack is solid like a rock. When not in use it folds upright close to the hatch door. The only problem is when the car is in Reverse, the camera gets out of whack. (I think this will happen with any installed bike rack). I am extremely happy with the quality of this rack. I got the rack AND hitch for 1/2 the price of the rack that I was looking at a year ago. Research it for yourself, you will end up buying the Cravot E-2 Plus.

Love this rack. The only complaint I have is that the wheel base on my Marin Hybrid is a little short of the adjustment of the adjustable wheel support. The bicycle still ties down securely but I would prefer the tire rest on the platform instead of only on the wheel support
It’s a really well made and strong bike rack that is a good price.
