Nice product very happy with the purchase
Bought this rack to transport our 60 lb plus e-bike and a mountain bike. Used it on the back of our Rv for the 1st test and it worked extremely well traveling 480 miles round trip. The screw in hitch pin makes for a solid connection and the lock mechanism is a nice security feature. The delivery was fast and packed very well so there was no damage. It was easy to assemble and the bikes are easy to load and strap down. I’m sure it will work even better hooked up on the back of our vehicles. For the money I’m happy it’s all what it’s capable of carrying the200 lb weight.
I haven’t owned this very long and haven’t used it yet. I have been looking for a carrier that was reasonably priced and would carry 200 lbs of fat tires e-bikes. This caught my eye so I bought on impulse. Receiving, unpacking, planning assembly, I was pleasantly surprised to understand the concept of putting it together from the hitch onward. Otherwise it would have meant wrestling with something that weighs as much as I do and spraining my back. So it carries a lot of weight by virtue of being sturdy, heavy, inexpensive, laborious, and complicated.
I am really pleased with the Cravot bike rack I purchased for my 2 fat-tire ebikes. It is sturdy and pleasure to use when it comes to mounting and dismounting the bikes on the rack. I used to put the bikes in the bed of my truck - the bikes are heavy. Now I just roll them up the ramp and secure them, unsecure them and roll them off again to ride. I also bought 2 covers to keep the rain off, but I only need one to cover both bikes.
